Ahhhhhhh loha palsies. Today is the Tuesday after Valentine’s Day (Sunday), but I just had such a lovely one and took a couple really cute pictures that I wanted to share it with you guys! I forgot to vlog the whole day because I was having too much fun (but I am vlogging this week) but I did remember to snap a couple pictures that I really love.
I spent a good part of the day with the boyfriend (obvs), the first thing we did was head over to a local bakery that makes the yummiest foods. I had a persian cupcake (it’s a strawberry icing with a cinnamon bun-like cake), and a macaron. I had to bring back some more macarons and meringues for my family though because they’re both gluten free and we’ve got a few celiacs in my family 🙂
After the bakery we went over to my favouritest place in Thunder Bay in the winter – the Centennial Botanical Conservatory. I wrote a post about this place awhile back so if you like these pictures you can see some more here.
I love this place so much and I think it makes the perfect back drop for really cute photos! It has amazing lighting (lol) and the prettiest plants and benches and I just really love it. So, naturally, I made my boyfriend take photos of me. They didn’t necessarily turn out as planned but I still got a pretty nice one! Then he made us get a picture together because despite having dated for what? I think about like 6 or 7 months, we still don’t have any pictures together (whoops).
(Kind of poor quality because they’re from my iPhone 6 and I just saved them to my laptop from my Facebook page – sorry!)
Then we went to a bagel shop and Lush. I got TWO new bath bombs (very excited, will be sharing them on my snap story when I use them – arcticsabrina). After we finished eating some proper food we went to the thrift store; another favourite place of mine. I picked up two new coats and a new striped shirt that I really like 🙂 After this I had to head home as my family was having a little family dinner!
I don’t have any pictures for the rest of the night because I was busy having TOO MUCH FUN. I drove out to a friend’s cottage to celebrate his and his dog’s birthday which was tons of fun. Then I went to another friend’s cottage on the same lake just to visit for a bit before heading back into town. Overall, I got to visit with most of the people who I love so I would say it was quite a successful Valentine’s Day! Hope you all had a good one as well, let me know what you got up to in the comments section!! 🙂
