Hi friends! If you don’t know me – I’m Sabrina, I post blogs post and videos on all things beauty/fashion/lifestyle. Today I’m going to walk you through how I achieve one of my all-time favourite hair looks. I have long wavy (and frizzy) hair, and I’m not the kind of person who really enjoys to curl it or straighten it all the time so I’ve been on the hunt to find how I can manipulate my natural wave to be the perfect beach wave look. This is where I’m at now, what do you think?
All I do is have me a shower, wash my hair, let it air dry (anyone else hate blow drying their hair to all ends of the earth???? I don’t understand how people can do it every day #NO). I had been using the Biosilk sea salt spray since I got two free bottles of it from a hair salon like two years ago – lol. Anything to save money right??? Anyways, I’ve (finally) been running low on that so I looked around on Sephora and did a little digging into the review section and found what I would agree is the BEST sea salt spray. It’s by a brand called VERB, and it’s advertised as “Sea Spray: Windswept Waves + Light Dry Texture“. For application you spray it into sections of your damp hair and then use your fingers to define the curls and let it dry naturally, OR use a diffuser for ‘amplified curls’.
I spray it in right before my hair is fully dry, and then by the time the spray dries my hair is dried. After that I go through and pick out pieces that are quite to my licking and use a (VERY OLD) Conair 1/2 inch curler to create some loose waves. I would say that this is the part that changes it from being super casual to something that’s okay for a dinner or evening out setting. It just ensures that the hair looks spot on from all angles! I set it with some hairspray and I am GOOD to GO!
If you guys have any questions about the products I mentioned or the method, or you would like a video tutorial just leave it in the comments below! Thanks for reaaaading 🙂
