I’m going on holiday next month somewhere HOT (finally!) so I wanted to pick up a few more summery things to wear while I’m there. I did the usual ASOS/Zara/H&M look around but I found that sites like Romwe, Zaful and Shein ALWAYS have summer/holiday bits whereas the others focus a lot more on seasonal stuff. Shopping on sites like that is a bit of a question mark for me, I didn’t know how seriously to take them because they tend to seem too good to be true. I went for Zaful because they have HOARDS of swimsuits, and I watched a few reviews to be sure of product quality BUT all of the reviews I watched were affiliated, so I couldn’t be sure.
In the end, I couldn’t get some of the pieces I wanted out of my head so I decided to take the plunge and see what happened. Here’s what happened:
busHello and welcome!! Today I’m sharing a thrift store haul, my top 5 tips for a successful thrifting trip, and why I think thrift shopping is so important! Watch my haul below, or scroll down to see my tips and tricks….
Aloha pals! I thought I would share with you a few of my summer clothing & makeup finds. I picked these up on my recent trip to Toronto (watch that here), I was looking for a good mix of staple summer pieces along with a few trendier bits – check it out! Honestly in love with all of this stuff but let me know what you think 🙂

(lol if you watch these look at the lowkey slow transition in quality from absolute crap to reasonably okay)
Hi friends!! It’s that time of the month again. I thought I would give you a little sneak peak with a few pictures of this month’s favourites 🙂
This month I’ve covered my fashion favourites- in case you missed it I decided to rotate through beauty fashion and lifestyle topics for my monthly favourites videos. This just gives me a bit more layover time to find new favourites in each of these sections rather than getting repetitive or leaving out a section or month! I can honestly say that my April beauty favourites were pretty much the same as my March so if you prefer beauty favourites you can watch that one here:
My fashion favourites this month focused a lot on items that help you move seamlessly from colder weather to warm. I also added in a few of my all time favourites – things that I wear all month long no matter what time of the year. I’ve been thinking of doing an all-time favourites for fashion & beauty as well, what do you all think? Is that something you would enjoy reading or watching?
Everything you see on here and in the video can be found in the description box underneath the video. Let me know what you think in the comments section! I loooove hearing from you 🙂 ❤
Hi guys! I’ve done another little spot of Spring shopping for some more pieces to wear all Spring long. This time I hit up the sale section of Forever 21 to pick up some new shorts, a new coat, and some new boots 🙂
These shorts were each under $10 and are both perfect for Spring! The blue pair are a deep navy colour with a satin material and are high waisted. The striped pair are a bit more loose fitted. Both are easy to style and could easily be worn on warmer Spring days as well as cooler Spring days with some tights. 🙂
I’ve already worn the satin pair of shorts out to the bar and I loved them! They’re SO flattering and so easy to style. Forgive my drunken mirror selfie:
I paired it with some navy tights and a floral print velvet cropped top that I really never thought I would wear (lol).
These boots were around $30 (I think??? I mention how much in my video so if you’re curious just watch it!) And they’re basically a brown chelsea boot with a little heel. They’re very shiny and quite clearly plastic not leather, but I actually like that because it’s always so rainy and mucky during the Spring and it ruins leather. These were a bit uncomfortable but after working them in a bit they’re really nice and also super easy to style!
This coat is hands down my favourite thing that I bought. I’ve worn it almost every day since it came! It was $40, originally $80, and kind of an impulse purchase. I just kept picturing it with different outfits and I’ve always wanted a coat like this one so I decided to get it and return it if it didn’t live up to standards (it did). I figured it would be really thin and pretty poor quality because let’s face it… it’s Forever 21. But it’s so warm and snuggly and though I’m a bit nervous about the buttons falling off or some stitching coming out, those are both things you can fix if you’re handy with some string. (I’m not but my mom is).
Overall, I was very, very happy with my Spring Forever 21 Haul. I did a little try-on haul on my YouTube account so if you want to see what the shorts look like on or just want to see what I’m like in person you can watch the video below!
Thanks for reading! Comment below if you have any thoughts 🙂

Hi guys, hope you all had a great NYE! One of the things I picked up on Boxing Day was a DW watch which I thought I’d give it’s own post because they’re so trendy and a bit pricey.
