Review | L'Occitane Shea Light Face Cream

L’Occitane’s Shea Light Face Cream (5%) is my FAVOURITE face cream for the winter months. I actually had to go back and check that I hadn’t reviewed this product already because it SHOCKS me that it’s not on here yet! This is my holy grail moisturizer. I have combination skin, but it’s reaaaally sensitive so I usually get dry patches and eczema spots on my face in the colder, drier winter months. Conversely, if I use a heavier face cream my face gets really oily feeling throughout the day, and my makeup just melts right off. My solution? L’Occitane’s Shea (light) Face Cream.

OOTD | Growing Flowers in Winter

love light colours, flowy fabrics and embroidery. I also live in a city that sees below 0 temperatures at least 5 months of the year. Luckily, I’ve found a way to make my peace between those two things. Here’s my little guide on how to let a little feminine, summer aesthetic live in your winter wardrobe, or as I so cleverly put it (modest, I know), how to grow some flowers in your winter wardrobe.

Photography | A Photo Study on Winter Days

Hi guys! Last week I spent a little time out at Centennial Park in Thunder Bay, Ontario with my dogs 😊I went for a snowshoe and they went for a walk but it was so beautiful I couldn’t help but snap a few pictures.

This will be my last winter appreciation post for awhile… and I as pretty as it is, I think I’m okay with that 🙂

Beauty | Winter Beauty Essentials

Hi friends! It’s getting cooler out there (slowly but surely), so I’ve slowly been adding little bits and pieces to my beauty routine to offset some of the affects of colder weather. Dry skin, dry lips, dry scalp, the cold air has completely dried me out. 🙁 Here are a few of my favourite products that help me battle the dry winter season!…

Beauty | Chapped Lips Remedies

Here’s a post I initially wrote about 10 months ago, but it’s getting to be about that time again when the winter weather starts messing with our beauty routine. My ‘Beauty Tips for Winter Weather’ posts are exactly what they say they are; a collection of tips on easy (in my case- lazy) ways to deal with some of the every day side effects of living in a cold climate….
