According to social media, a lot of people have started running for their government allocated exercise of the day. It’s a great way to get cardio in, but my friends and I keep having the same conversation: it’s so hard. Going from someone who never runs to ‘a runner’ is never a smooth transition. When you start, you feel too self conscious, you keep having to stop to catch your breath, or you’re never motivated to go out for a run in the first place.
