Fika is just one of the cute little cafes I ended up visiting while in Toronto way back in 2016. I loved so much that I had to share. I originally found the Fika Cafe in Kensington Market on a Buzzfeed article. Then, I visited in 2016, and now I try to go back anytime I’m in Toronto. It’s in a great location, right in the heart of Kensington Market! You can head there for breakfast and then explore the market or vice versa. Kensington Market just keeps expanding, and expanding each time I go. Luckily, there’s always somewhere new to explore. Friends! One of my favourite places is Thunder Bay’s Botanical Conservatory. It’s been awhile since I posted something non-beauty related, and I was just looking through my pictures and came across the some from here in the conservatory! It’s an absolute oasis in the city. Whenever I’m there I feel like I’m in another world. I’m Alice in Wonderland. It’s perfect.

As soon as the leaves start changing colours I am an enthusiastic little child again. And the best part of autumn in my childhood was Pumpkinfest at Gammondale Farm. So naturally I went back. I love everything fall: hikes in pretty coloured forests, and pumpkin patch dates and corn mazes and pumpkin pie! Yet come Autumn every year, I rarely do anything particularly autumn-y. This year I really wanted to make an effort to change that. All my favourite fall memories are from my childhood. Spending a day out with the animals on a farm, swinging on tire swings in a hay barn, pumpkin picking at a pumpkin patch, and going for a hay rides (and falling off)! All of this comes back to Pumpkinfest at Gammondale Farm. …
Thunder Bay has a lot to offer when it comes to outdoor beauty. In just one day, my friends and I were able to see Pass Lake, Pearl, and Ouimet Canyon. This summer I haven’t been able to do much traveling, but that never stopped me from having as many adventures as possible. A couple weeks ago my friends and I took a day off to explore some of the cool places we’ve never been before just outside of our city. Pass Lake, Pearl, and Ouimet Canyon are all pretty close to each other, so it was easy to achieve in a day! …
