Recently I’ve been seriously loving a good red lip. I was inspired by Emma Watson (surprise surprise) as she said that whenever she’s got a big event she wears a red lip. I’ve always been torn about this because on one hand, a red lip makes me feel bad ass and bold. I feel like you can’t go wrong with it. Except… red lips are so hard to do right! As soon as your colour starts fading in the middle, and it starts to look like you’ve got a weird lip liner thing going on. Or it smudges off your lips, feels impossible to fix and you go from feeling 100% to 0%. The struggle. These are the best red lip products, the ones I always use time and time again.

This review is the last in a set of MAC’s favourite face products reviews where I looked at MAC’s Face + Body Foundation, and MAC’s Select Cover Up. Face products’ performance always comes down to what primer you’re using, which makes it one of the most important products in your makeup bag! People love MAC’s Prep, Prime + Fix Primer because it can prep your face and make makeup last longer, and it can be sprayed onto individual brushes to make face + eyeshadow colours appear more pigmented. Multi-faceted products like this are my favvvv because you get 2 for 1 cost, and they’re great for when you’re travelling! YES. Here is my MAC Prep Prime + Fix Review.
Hi friends! Today I thought I would share with you the baking recipe that started it all – the classic chocolate chip cookie recipe. These are the cookies you bake with your mom when you’re little… And contribute only by putting in a teaspoon of vanilla and eating all the extra chocolate chips. This recipe was the first one I ever learned to bake by myself. It’s from the Hershey’s Cook Book that we bought from a Hershey’s factory back in the ’90s and it is deeeelicious. I don’t think I’ve ever made anything else from the recipe book though.

Aloha pals! I closely followed Emma Waton’s Beauty and the Beast press tour through her Instagram (@the_press_tour) account. Her goal on the tour was to use as many sustainable, eco-friendly and cruelty free products as possible. She then shared them on her Instagram, and in interviews! It’s perfect because as much as I’d love to buy products like those, I have such a hard time finding affordable options! During her press tour Emma did an interview with IntoTheGloss where she went over her beauty routine and her favourite beauty products. I’ve decided to try a handful of them out and give you an in depth review of the product, it’s ethical benefits, and it’s affordability. On that note, here is my DHC Mascara Review.

Mac’s Select Cover Up concealer is one of my absolute favourite high-coverage concealer. On MAC’s website it’s rated at 4.5/5. After using it religiously for a few months, I can totally see why. I’ve been using this concealer for months, so I’ve tried applying it a few different ways and I’m finally ready to post my MAC Select Cover Up Review! If you’re looking for a high coverage concealer to cover redness or under eye circles, look no further.
I first fell in love with MAC’s Face and Body foundation because it’s packaging looked so cool and professional. And… I wanted to be the kind of person who owned and used that kind of makeup (guilty!). I’m not going to lie, the first time I saw it was on Perrie Edward’s Makeup Tutorial, and I commented asking what she used because (obv) she looked like a dream. A lovely fellow viewer cued me in on the Face + Body foundation (and the select cover up, there’s a review coming for that too!). Ever since it’s been on my wishlist. I’ve been using it for months now, and I think it’s about time I posted an in depth MAC Face + Body Foundation review.
My Grandma’s peanut butter cookie recipe is, for obvious reasons, my go-to pick me up cookie recipe. I love love LOVE using old recipes that have been passed down generations. It makes the baking a more intimate and meditative experience in my opinion because you (after awhile) know the recipe like the back of your hand, and you feel connected to something or someone who might not be around anymore.
