Monochrome – also known as all and only black and white, or all one colour, is a huuuuge trend in fashion for Spring. Dior (Ready to wear) and Calvin Klein (menswear) both had almost entirely monochromed, black and white, runways. And now I can’t type monochrome without giggling, it’s all too much! So, how to style monochrome? It’s fairly straightforward, once you get the hang of it!

Monthly Favourites? How About All-Time Favourites
I’m not one for ‘monthly favourites’ videos or posts, but I thought a review of all of my favourite ‘holy grail’ beauty products from 2016 would be a good way to share my all-time favourites! So here you have it, my holy grail beauty products of 2016:
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder is a product that’s fairly trendy, and quite expensive. I bought the individual compact in the shade “Luminous Light” from Sephora in June. I won’t lie, it was a complete impulse purchase. I’ve wanted it ever since I heard about it in one of Zoella’s makeup tutorials (I’m basic, I know). When I saw it in the store, it was too pretty and glowy to pass by, so here we are. Unfortunately, when a big name like that recommends it, you’re still not 100% sure about the product. So, here is my humble Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Review.

Shopping online for glasses can be a struggle. I recently purchased a second pair of glasses for ‘back to school.’ Basically, I bought my original set of glasses from my optometry office, they were hella expensive and hella generic and I wanted something more distinctive but I didn’t want to spend another $400. (Yikes – thank god for coverage am I right?!) Like all things that I want to buy for cheap, I looked online. Shopping for glasses online is not straightforward. Glasses also aren’t the sort of thing you can go ‘good enough!’ with. I found a few different eye glasses websites but decided to go with ‘EyeBuyDirect’ for a few reasons.
An Introduction to Rodan + Fields
I’m not going to lie to you, I’m really not a skincare type of person. That’s not to say I don’t have my fair amount of issues with my skin. It’s incredibly sensitive, breaks out in eczema patches, I have chronic under eye circles, and constantly chapped lips. However, I’m convinced that anytime I try to play around and fix any of these problems, I always end up worse off than before. Michaela reached out to me to sample some of her products and write a Rodan + Fields Review, and I was relieved for the guidance she gave me! And, I’ll be honest, for the opportunity to see if these products work for me before having to buy the full product.
This Raw Energy Ball Recipe requires no baking at all! And it can easily be made vegan. These energy balls are low maintenance. Often the recipes require food processing, expensive ingredients start to finish, but this is an introductory recipe. Low maintenance from beginning to end. If you’ve ever had an energy ball/bite then you know how awesome they are, if you haven’t, listen up.

Ladurée French Macarons Recipe – Easier Than It Seems!
I’ve been really wanting to try baking macarons ever since I started baking. Macarons, crepes, and chocolate covered strawberries are my all-time favourite desserts so I really want to master all three. Problem is: macarons are super hard to make, so I’ve been biding my time before I attempt them. You need really precise measurements and you need to do everything exactly as ‘they’ tell you to for them to turn out well. Luckily, little old me was gifted with a baking scale from my sister for Christmas, so today was dedicated to my first ever macaron baking adventure! Here is my Ladurée French Macarons Recipe.
