Sunny Days In Circus Lane, One of Edinburgh’s “Hidden Gems”

Sunny skies are a rare occasion in Edinburgh, and usually if they’re there, you don’t know they’re coming. It’s really unusual for me to be able to dress for good weather, but every once in awhile a few days of sun come along and I try my best to make the most of it! Otherwise I’ll have a wardrobe full of skirts, shorts, and dresses that never get worn. Luckily, I was staying on top of the weather last week and an opportunity to go to Circus Lane (in Edinburgh) and wear one of my favourite dresses on a day out with my friend arose!

How To Style Monochrome

Monochrome – also known as all and only black and white, or all one colour, is a huuuuge trend in fashion for Spring. Dior (Ready to wear) and Calvin Klein (menswear) both had almost entirely monochromed, black and white, runways. And now I can’t type monochrome without giggling, it’s all too much! So, how to style monochrome? It’s fairly straightforward, once you get the hang of it!

A New York City Getaway

Processed with VSCO with m5 preset

There is nothing quite like a New York City getaway! At the very end of the winter holidays, my sisters, my mom and I jetted off to New York City to kickstart the new year. New York City holds a soft spot in all of our hearts. After years of mixing and matching on our trips there we finally all made it out together. We only spent three and a half days there, but they were – like always – jam packed. One day we walked over 25 km. That’s right, over 25 km in a city where there’s a cab on every corner. Never again.

Phoenix Park, Dublin Travel Diaries

As you may know if you’re following me on social media, over my fall reading week I paid a visit to my friend in Dublin. One of the top places on my list of things to do and see was Phoenix Park because hello??? Deer are my favourite animals! If you don’t know what Phoenix Park is, it’s basically Dublin’s version of Central Park – except it’s about 10 times as big, and is home to about a million different places to adventure and explore. Here’s my little travel diary from Phoenix Park, Dublin!
